The European Film Festival [in Miami] has a unique position in the landscape of the major film festivals. For the last 6 years, thousands of film enthusiasts and industry professionals from all over the world meet in Miami and transform the city into an international capital of auteur cinema.

The week long festival is produced by Red Chemistry Inc, a non-profit organization incorporated in Florida, which mission is to promote the art of independent filmmaking in South Florida.

Independent first-run foreign feature films, representing many countries, will make their premieres on U.S. soil at the European Film Festival, presented in Miami and Miami Beach.
